We’re kicking the year off with heading back into the studio in Winnipeg with 2012 Grammy-nominated producer Zach “Reazon” Heiligman. He’s been warned he’s heading into the frozen tundra of Manitoba, where it’s not unusual to hear “Today’s high is -25 celsius”. If the computers don’t freeze we’ll have tracks for you to hear soon!

After a two hour wait at the border, fingerprinting, eye scanning and a Fargo fender bender we made it to the sunny realms of California. Definitely a nice change from the frozen tundra confines of our Canadian homeland.
We’re in the studio in LA with, Zach ‘Reazon’ Heiligman (Foster The People) working on our upcoming EP. Zack’s eyeing some sexy synth machines in the space while discussing the ‘New World Order’ at the Denver Airport. Looking forward to recording 4-5 tracks and finishing some more up in our hometown Winnipeg, CAN next month.

Getting ready for our shows in Los Angeles this month. We’re excited to play with Youngblood Hawke and Club Feet while we’re in town. The shows are FREE and you find more info in the GIG listings!

As we look forward to getting on the road soon we have some shows planned for late September and October. If you’re in Winnipeg you can catch us at the Pyramid Cabaret for an early show September 21st.

We had an amazing time in Toronto this past June at NXNE. We’ll be back soon Toronto! We’re now looking forward to hitting the stage this summer with a bunch of shows. Goldenboy is happy to announce we’re playing North By North East this year.
